Dog Ears Removal?

I am about 5 weeks post-BMX. Before I had my BMX, I told my BS I wasn't quite sure if I wanted reconstruction or not. So, BS left xtra skin on both breasts "just in case." After all I've been through, I am adamant about not having any reconstruction, as I do not want any foreign object in my body, SEs, etc. that go with all of that (no, thank yiou!)

I have 2 VERY uncomfortable prone-to-swelling dog ears on my L and R sides. In addition, owing to "positive margins" with my DCIS, I will likely need to have another BS I met with last week go in for a re-excision to the chest wall to get clear margins (and thus, HOPEFULLY!, so I can avoid 6 weeks or so of rads). In addition, as I told BS #2, I find my attempts at light jogging (did before my BMX) now to be very uncomfortable, and the swelling issues w/dog ears, also. So, BS #2 has both a medical case and cosmetic case in my need for post-BMX surgery.

Has anyone dealt with these issues? Had any problem with getting coverage by their health insurance carrier? Any helpful insights welcome - and appreciated!!
