Pain, feels muscular, in right side of chest

Hello all,  :)

For the past several weeks, maybe longer, I've been having pain (tightness and sore) on the right side of my chest above my heart; this was my cancer side.  I'm hoping it's nothing, but I'm starting to get worried.  I no longer have insurance, but thank goodness for the V.A. -- will try to make an appt. with an oncologist asap.  Again, it feels muscular but seems deeper.  Crap!  Just posting this is starting to scare me.  :(  It's been three years since my mastectomy.

    Hi sammy, you may want to call your PCP, that type of tightness and soreness near your heart could be something heart related rather than cancer related. I'd call your GP, tell them your symptoms and get checked out. if it gets worse, and you feel short of breath ,you should consider going to the ER.
