Weird pain a month after 3rd lumpectomy?

My mom was diagnosed with ILC back in Feb. She has had 3 lumpectomies since. Her margins are finally clean - and her last surgery was over a month ago.

She keeps getting this horrible sharp pain that shoots through her breast.

Anyone ever experience this? Is it normal? She is set to start chemo on Wednesday.

I want to make sure it is normal before she starts.

    Chelsea, I've been told it is nerves trying to regenerate. I still get them occasionally from my biopsy. They are really sharp, zingy pains, almost like an electric jolt.
