Pain, lymphoedema, redness, still...

Hi ladies

I'd like your advice.  I was dx 18mths ago, IDC, Grade 2, x3 l/nodes removed - negative, lumpectomy, developed a huge abcess post 1st chemo (TC) which caused delay of 2 months in chemo.  Had TCx4 total and radio x6 weeks with ongoing lymphoedema, recurrent breast infections and loads of antibiotics.  This breast has never felt right, currently on more antibiotics, lymphoedema and pain again. I use cortisone cream for itchy rash that reoccurs and have some dimpling at lumpectomy site.  Had bone scan, ultrasounds, CT in March, negative. I do have a ? oil cyst which has been there for over 12 months now. Should I ask for an MRI?  I've had enough of the stress this causes. Has anyone out there had a reoccurence following this? Would appreciate your thoughts.

Have you seen a lymphedema specialist yet? That might help with one part of your suffering.

I am sorry that you are going through this. One day it will be a memory rather than suffering.

    Hugs,

    Peggy

    Hi Peggy

Thank you. Yes I saw a physio who helped me learn massage for lymphoedema which was extremely helpful. But, I still have pain and a few skin changes. Have made an appointment with GP for tomorrow, hope you are doing ok :)

    Thank you
