Non Hormone Receptive = Triple Negative?

Hello,

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at 56 and passed 7 months later...and during that time my parents never really discussed many specifics about her condition.  I'm guessing it was to try and protect us as their children?  Now that I am starting to deal with my own breast issues, I'm trying to learn more about the details of her condition and why it was so aggressive.  My dad told me that her cancer was non-hormone receptive and forgive me if this is an ignorant question, but does that mean triple negative?  If so, does this increase my risk at all (genetic, etc)?  I am already high risk due to various factors, but again, just trying to educate myself more.  Thanks.
