Great post-MX wear bra for active women!

I participated in our local AHA Heart Walk last Saturday for the 3 mile version, and really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed not having remnants of both my size B/C girls my BS left behind post-BMX (for future recon) bobbing up and down while I walked!

Looking through my workout wear closet, I found a GREAT compression-type bra (made by BestForm) that is a kind of stretchy "all-in-one" kind of bra with a T-back/racer-back style, which I previously "tested" with aerobic dance and jogging. Great in that there are no hooks, wires or traditional bra straps that are a PITA to keep ON my shoulders!! It really holds those girls in "tightly" - wore it during a 3-mile AHA Heart Walk last Saturday - it felt like heaven to be moving again, without my 2 girls a-bobbin! ;)

Unfortunately, can't remember when or where I bought it... but from here on out (I'm really nixed on ANY notion of me having ANY recon in the future -- after all I've been through so far) for sure, it's COMPRESSION bras for me! :)

Hi Lily - I apologize - this may be indeed a "dated" bra, which hasn't seen the light of day for eeeons, long before I rejoined WW in January 2012 and got "reactivated" (pun intended). Here's the best readable info I can give, from what I can best read/gather on the inside of the bra:

    Bestform

    Size 42

    86% nylon / 12% spandex

    Made in Canada

    Style 5006523 RN 16345

Reasons I started wearing just before I had my BMX were two-fold: (1) after dropping 90 lbs over 13 months, wanted a bra more compression style from my wardrobe, to enable easier transition from brisk walking to light jogging, to more minimize any "bounce" factor; and (2) to "break it in" for post-BMX exercise.

Yes, I was disappointed in not finding EXACT same model on Bestform's site, but going forward, I will always look for same "all-in-one" t-back/spandex compression features in all future bras I buy. I likely will not get a recon in the future, so these features I figure will do me well, for wearing all day long! :)

Sorry if the info I gave was out of date, but at least it looks like the Bestform brand is sold at places like KMart and Wal-Mart (a lot more favorable on my budget!!) :)

OK - since I'm on STD, I'm using my time off very well! ;) I did some Google-ing, and found (thefind.com) using the search term "pullover compression sports bra" with some very good results! From what I"ve seen there, THE bra (IMO) that most closely resembles my my Bestform is the "Serena" model bra by Moving Comfort (a bit pricier, around $38). I, for one, detest back closer/hooks and straps that won't stay up (I'm kind of petite, was always large-busted, and BS left me enough "boobs" for me to wear same kind of bras - exercising or not!). They just feel so darned comfortable (and carefree!). I switched to these kind of bras years ago - like in the 1980s... JC Penney's had a great compression bra in the heydays when I was participating in Jacki Sorensen's Aerobic Dancing 2-3 times a week (and running). Now, THAT's a bra I really DO miss! :(
