I am so confused about my symptoms…

Hope your CT went well gritgirl. It took them 21/2 hours to find a good vein. My poor arm!!! CT only took 30 min. My precious little daughter in law sat and waited all that time without complaint. I love her so much!!!
-
OHL. I am so sorry to hear that. I am back after scans and herceptin. Exhausted. Hoping for good results for both of us. Do you drink a bunch of water before ct? That's supposed to help with making veins better.
-
Yes, I pray we both get good news. My daughter in law came to pick me up wearing her “Fight Like a Girl” tee shirt, she also brought me a plaque that reads Cancer touched my breast so I kicked it’s butt. Haha I love it!!! I have it hanging on my mantle. Beautiful!!!
No one ever told me to dring a bunch of water before I went…. Kinda makes sense though. Heck, I drank so much coffee last night. No wonder they wouldn’t cooperate…. Haha
-
Yeah. That would dehydrate you. Just glad to have the scans done. Now to get the news part over with.
-
Well, results from scan are good but clot has formed in neck from port, so I'm at Er for ultrasound, MRI and blood thinners. Woot woot.
-
Oh gritgirl...I'm so sorry that this is happening. I hope you can get it taken care of and get to go home tonight. Take care.
-
Yeah. It's a pain but so small compared to the idea of having the cancer spread. I'm actually very happy that my results of the scan were so good. This a bit scary, but not too bad.
-
That is for sure! I'm happy to hear that your scans were stable. That is wonderful news. As Rose Ann Rose Ann Adana said....It's always something!!
-
My favorite question from doctors is, "Any other medical issues?"
Me. "No. Just the cancer."
Cracks me up in a black humor way every time. -
i would probably add a F ing to that statement
-
Like this reponse. The later comment I am referring to, to add an F! AND, the comment just before was also very funny. I liked the humour in both since deeply it is often only sadness that is reflected ...and too, great gains!.

Gritgirl, I'm sooooo happy your scans turned out well. How in the cat hair do you hear the results so quickly??? I always have to wait at least two weeks??? I guess these people here are a little slow. haha You should see my beautiful arm.... it's so colorful. haha
Good luck with your clot. If it's in your neck that is NOT good. Too close to the heart, so let them fish it out or do what they have to. Isn't there some kind of drug they can give you to disolve it now days?
Also, Good day to all you other ladies out there. I'm a newby to this site. As you can tell, I feel right at home. You guys understand things. People around me think because since it's been almost 2 years since my diagnoses I should be swinging from the trees by now. haha
-
OHL. The only reason I found out so quickly is because of the clot. Otherwise, I would have to wait. So now it's just taking blood thinners. I'm exhausted.

Hi
I ve been diagnosed with
Para neoplastic syndrome too. After a mastectomy, chemo, reconstructive surgery, thyroid removal (cancer) and Femara for a year.My symptoms were like a stroke too but MRIs ruled them out. Clean spinal tap. I've had four IVIGs and can now walk, but I talk funny. I have what's called downbeat nystagmus so I can't see without special glasses with prisms built in. Before this I had good vision. Is any of this like what you have ?
