    Hello All.

    Like many people, I have lost some family members to cancer.

    This year I'm participating in the Enbridge Ride To Conquer Cancer.  It is a 2 day - 200Km cycle from Toronto to Niagra Falls!

    I'm doing this to raise funds, create awareness, and to show my support for those battling this disease.


    I'm posting this message here as an awareness, just to let you all know that people care, and that we are doing something about it.

    Thank you for caring, but PLEASE see what you can do to direct whatever funds are raised to cancer research - NOT awareness. Everyone is already aware of it, it's cures that are needed which will only come about through research. The New York Times just devoted its Sunday magazine to the scandalous way money raised for breast Cancer is NOT going to fund research, but is redundantly, wastefully going to make people "aware" of something they are already well aware of.

    As a breast cancer patient, I'd prefer a cure than another pretty pamphlet telling me about it.
