Would love to hear experiences from others who have tried these treatments.

My RO just prescribed both for me.  My skin is great, but my pec muscle is fibrosed to some degree - definitely tighter.  I am about 1 year 2 months post external whole breast rads.

I know these treatments can be hard on the stomach, and I have a sensitive one...I suspect I may have a hard time tolerating the meds.  We'll see!  Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I am going to see my doctor to discuss this treatment this week, would love to hear how yours is going.  Did you have shrinkage of your breast, and has this stopped it from further shrinking?

I couldn't tolerate the pentoxifylline (upset tummy), but I am doing fine on the Vitamin E.  I don't see a marked difference in my flexibility yet, but my doctor told me it may take 6 months before I see much change with the vitamin e.

I had shrinkage, but I also had weight loss, so I'm not sure if it was due to the radiation, weight loss, or a combination of the two.  I have not lost any further amount since my weight stabilized.
