today morning she had a vertical stabbing pain in calf muscles of right leg and was so severe that she could not put feet on ground

i gace here a pain killer and the pain was gone

she just has mild pain in calf muscles(probably due to lot of walking)

could this be a normal sparin in calfs or could it be mets in bones

You need much more information to even consider mets. Just shake off the fear and let the Onc know. They will order a scan and probably an NSAID for muscle pain. Of course it could be bad news but it also might be achy tired muscles. Stay positive either way.

It is unusual for mets to be below the knee.  Not that there couldn't be an exception but I rather doubt that is your problem.  It is probably due to what you said....a lot of walking catching up with her.

Give it two to three weeks and if it is still there then you can check with doctor.  Usually when I get those kind of pains they generally go away in a week or two.

    Hang in there.

Have her all her Dr ASAP.  It might be a DVT (blood clot) which needs medical care NOW.  These are not unusaul when someone has either been on a plane ride or long car trip.  (You didn't say how you got to your vacation site.)  I have been told that mets do not usually form in leg below knee.

No matter what it turns out to be - it is best to get checked out sooner than later.

Is your wife on hormonal treatment? Tamoxifen/Aromasin?  I get pains much like you describe in my calves from time to time.  They are a SE of tamoxifen.  Feel like a charley horse.

If you think blood clot...get it checked out.

continued pain in calf could be a blood clot which must be considered.

ITS NOT A CONTINOUS PAIN I WAS JUST A ISOLATED EPISODE OF ACUTE PAIN

THE NORMAL PAINS ARE SE OF TAMOXIFEN

I ASKED DOCTOR ABOUT CLOT BUT HE SAIS THAT IT HAS OTHER SYMPTOMS LIKE SWELLING IN CALVES,AND REDNESS WHICH WAS NOT PRESENT
