Hello everyone, i hope all u lafies find urselves well with little or no side effevts from anti-hormonals. I need some advice pls!!!!

I had ibc, and wents thru everything i needed to get this monster under control. I had the chemo dose dense a/c for 4 rounds and taxol for 3 rounds, then modified radical mastectony to right breast, prophylacttic on left breast, external radiation for 35 treatments, and am due for a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy on june 17 due to having the bcra1 gene. After my onc wants to put me on arimidex for 5 years and i am terrified of side effects which will increase due to surgery. The question here is, has anyone of u ladies gone thru this type of surgery and still continued on with arimidex??? If so, does it actually stop a recurrence??? And how were the side effects? What did u do to make side effects mire manageable?? I am trying to look into a more natural way of taking aromatase inhibitors....anyone take this route also? Pls any and all advice that can be given is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I am 21 years old and I just had a total laproscopic hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo oopherectomy on 4/29/13 and due to endometrosis I am unable to take any hormone replacements for atleast 6 months . And I have joined a site called hystersisters.com and it has been amazing . It is definately something I recommend anyone who has had a hysterectomy or is going to go visit . I'm sure on there you will find many others in the same situation as you and those who have been thru it . Me personally I have had hot flashes like 10-15 times a day starting like two days after my surgery and can't stop eating can't get full . I would def like to be able to take a pill or patch or anything to help with these symptoms .
