The Life After Breast Cancer Conference is a one-day biennial patient education event hosted by the  Juravinski Cancer Program, Hamilton.  This conference provides updated information about medical treatment, post-treatment side effects and psychosocial issues.  After hearing a keynote speaker, participants choose from multiple concurrent sessions.  They have the opportunity to view pertinent community resources and to network with others who have had breast cancer. It will be held Oct 17, 2013 at the Hamilton Convention Centre.  For Conference details and to register go to   www. jcc.hhsc.ca/LABC .

    I just registered for this conference.  Only $35 for a full day of what looks to be a great programme.  And for any Q107 listeners, Maureen Holloway, morning show DJ is the keynote speaker...apparently a BC Survivor.  She is one funny lady, so no doubt will infuse some of her humour to the day.
