Glossary Acronyms etc

Hi Mods, ages ago someone did a pretty good list (on an "updated as new info came" basis and in alphabetical order) of terminologies, Acronyms, and such, to do with the whole medical field in general and BC in particular. I cant remember where it was and I can't find it in a search. If anyone remembers or knows where it is please say. Im wondering if that list could be revived, added to and maybe serve as a sticky.

There are many who would benefit from such a list being a sticky, not only newbies but those of us from other countries who (still) wonder what some of the American Acronyms are. I also think of infinite value would be a list of procedures that are synonymous with BC, and associated issues like LE (Lymphoedema) and all that goes with that.

I know there is  much info on BC.ORG in general with full(er) explanations etc but this is more a "one stop shop" for quick and easy reference.

Musical, in the Information and resources for new patients, and new members forum, (the first forum on the All Topics list), there's the Discussion Board Abbreviation Key that includes many of those mysterious acronyms and abbreviations.

If members see new or different short forms that they'd like to see included in our list, please send us a PM or post here in Comments, Suggestions, Feature Requests so we can add them to the list.
