All I thought I would see if anyone else has noticed this, as I cannot find anything definitive. My arm with the lymphedema is discolored. It is a motled red (not real dark) I at first thought it had something to do with the brace I had to wear, but it has been off for two weeks now and it has not gone away. Has anyone else had any kind of discoloration?

Oh thank god someone else has this.  I have trunkel LE too and got a very small redish spot above my breast.  Had dr look at it and he said it was ok but sure scared me to death.  I had a thyroid problem (hyper) and they gave me meds so I gained back the weight which problably did this.  I have to wear these large breast things but they do keep down the LE.  Gosh I hate it.  Do not let yourself dwell on this, I did and ended up on more anixety meds.  By the way when I stand up straight it almost goes away, stupid thing.  I dont mean thank god you have this just that you talked about it

Mottled red skin can be IBC skin mets.

when the doctor looked at it and felt it would he know if it were skin mets? Mine is not really motled and I would have to point it out for you to notice however skin met scared the hell out of me and I looked it up.  There is no difference in the texture either, I think I have gone insane over this.

Jennifer1 I looked it up too. I am just as scared as you. The logical part of my brain says, "You had IDC, not inflammatory breast cancer and its on the for arm not the chest" but this disease has took away my rationale. I see my oncologist next month and will ask what he thinks it is. After the scare we had in Jan. ( we thought I had Mets in the brain), I don't want to assume its nothing.

I was scanned less than a year ago and ok then however due to the concern I believe I will check it out.  I think I did interfer with the blood flow when I wore a bra that was way to tight, since have learned lesson.  I am also puffy in that area but was puffy before scan from the LE.  They killed my lymph system with radiation and then I had cellutitus there too.  Had a needle aspiration there too and it was air.  My goodness does this ever end.
