Arm pain after FEC chemo help??

About five days after my second FEC chemo treatment through IV my arm hurt from my wrist to elbow I can not put my arm straight. It feels like the vein is pulling and I have like a burning sensation off and on also hurts to touch that part of my arm. It has now been a week and still hasnt got better .Needless to say my nurse said its not a clot and really doesn't know what to tell me ... So just wondering if anyone has experienced this or has any advice thanks.

It is inflammation of the vein from the epirubicin. It sucks. I got it after my second FEC. It WILL get better, but it could take quite some time. My onc gave me some gel that is used for varicose veins to put on it and it did relieve the discomfort a little.
