Anyone Else a PILC Recurrence? Any experience with MD Anderson?

After complaining to my onc doc for almost a year about new lumps in my left armpit and pain there, he finally agreed to have them removed and biopsied along with another that formed at 12 oclock in the breast itself. Bottom line, same PILC along with infilitration into the skeletal muscle. Next up is PET and MRI to check for more spread and an intake with MD Anderson in Orlando since all faith in my current onc is gone.

Has anyone else gone through this? What were your treatments? Anyone else gone to MD Anderson?

I wish I could tell the difference between pain from the surgery and pain from the spread to the muscle. Needless to say, I felt way better before the results of the biopsy came back...

Sue - I don't have any experience wiith MD Anderson but I wanted to pop in and tell you, I'm sorry that you're dealing with this again. I hope that it doesn't take too long for you to get your plan in place. I hope some others come along soon that can give you feedback on their experiences.
