Modifed Citrus Pectin

Hi everyone.  I was diagnosed on 3/14/13 with DCIS and decided to join this group for info and support.  I've been reading about MCP - Modified Citrus Pectin... a good site is Dr. Eliaz in Sebastapol, CA.  I have my SSM scheduled for next week and I'm considering starting his protocol 1 week before surgery (this Fri) and continuing with it after to surgery in an attempt to keep the beast from returning.  I just ordered a jar from Life Extension.  I'm feeling very anxious lately with the chance of recurrence... especially on the chest wall or mets.  I was wondering if any of you have experience/info/tips regarding this product.  Would love to hear your input.

I have yet to undergo my surgery.  I was scheduled to have mx this past Monday, but the PS's office forgot to get authorization for his part of thesurgery and the TE.  So I am now rescheduled for May 6.  Anyway, I was taking MCP and will start again before surgery.  I am losely following LEF's presurgery protocol.  I don't have all the supps but am taking the ones I have and can afford.  Good luck with the surgery.
