Seems like I should just shut up and be grateful for nose hair, and I am grateful for nose hair!!!

May 26th will be 3 years since my last chemo treatment, and I've got long locks. They started out curly, but have started looking less so. Lately, I've had significant pain again in my hair shafts. It is like the early growing out stages, only much more sensitive. It's bad enough that I'm considering going short again--something I'd not planned to do for a LONG time after sporting bald for a year. But everytime the wind blows or my hair moves at all, it ouches.

Anyone else have this problem after this long?

Texas - I had that problem years ago and it turned out to be the beginning of a bad case of shingles.  Have you seen a doctor about it?  How long has it been going on?  I just wanted to let you know about my experience and please let us know how it is resolved.  Sending good thoughts.

Wow, had not considered that.... I'll put it on the list.

It hasn't been long--a few weeks, but the past few days have been significant.

Thank you for the feedback--it is always good to know 'breast buddies' are never alone!
