sinus headache?
I have been having left frontal lobe sinus pressure. It hurts on left side when I bend over. Been going on for last few months after cold. Used mt nettie pot,did roynd of antibiotics. Seemed to get better some. Now if i cough or sneeze there is pressure. Maybe i should go back to doc for xrays? I hate docs.if it is a sinus thing then its viral. Just had last part od diep last week. Just hurts when there is change in pressure.

If you can take them try a week of Mucinex (/store brand is fine) & the "real" pseudoephedrine that you have to sign for at the pharmacy counter. Take the recommended number of doses every day and drink plenty of water. Usually within a day or two I can tell it is working because my ears start popping & I realize I've been so plugged up in the head & sinuses that I haven't even been hearing well. Standing in the shower with the hot water running on your face for as long as possible helps too.

I also did weanmyself off effexor slowly over last few months, but havnt had any of that in maybe three weeks . In full menopause now

Forgotabout the pseudofed. Thanks

Your welcome. The mucinex will help the pseudoephedrine work bevause it thins it out. The decongestants available on the shelf now without a signature are worthless.

I got the good kind of pseudo fed. If this works do i send copay?:-)

Hope it helps. I am a veteran allergy/sinus sufferer. This usually does the trick for me:) Only trade-off is pseudofed making it hard to sleep. I try to take the last dose no later than 6 or 7. Sometimes its a toss-up between not sleeping because you're too stopped up to sleep & not sleeping because the meds keep you awake.
