i have intermediate grade dcis, took 3 surgeries to clear margins.  each time surgeon surprised to discover more dcis.  once 3rd attempt showed clear, was sent onto radiation, am told even if there was more there, that wasn't evident on imagining, radiation would 'probably' take care of it -- how common is it for more dcis to show up in later mammograms?
