my radiation treatment

i've completed 29 of 34 treatments.    my skin broke down last week.  at first they gave me pain medicine.  that didn't get me thorugh the weekend.  they gave me gel pads, domoboro's astringent and a gel jelly to use on the raw spots and hte dry flaking spots.   as well as the keri lotion and aquiphor ointment.

i also believe in my ice packs!!!!!   and my teddy bear (yes, I'm 46 yo) -- my 72 yo mother made me a teddy bear after my surgery in January, and that is one of the best presents I've received so far.  

patience, ice, pain meds, hydrogel pads!!!!!   i get psoriasis under my breasts before all this, so the break down was not unexpected.   just quite painful for me. 

i was at a 7 on the pain scale (up to the gills with hydrocodon too) as soon as i used the astrigent and the hydrogel pad, i was at a 2!!!!!

much more tolerated.

now to sleep the pain meds off!!!  ha ha

How are you doing? I have Ehlers Danlos, too, and I was wondering what's going on with you. Did you ever take the Tamox?
