What are prognosis with chest wall recurrence and did your stay stable? How many years since chest wall recurrence?

    HI netty- I haven't had a recurrence, but wanted to stop in and ensure this was bumped back up. I'm sure otherw with this experience will be along soon.

    It's been 5+ years since diagnosed with a chest wall recurrence (Jan 2007). Had chemo and radiation. At my last visit with my onc. she wanted to stop following me. I said maybe when there's a test for recurrence I'd feel more comfortable. At my annual mammo I 'graduated' from being told my results while I waited to being mailed my results. So I guess my chances of recurrences are now considered the same as everyone.

    That's good news. I been sick with worry. I had chemo and rads also. The chestwall part is a maybe. I never had Masectomy in 2000 I only had lumpectomy. Yup 12 yrs and came back to same breast. My surgeon felt it was not chest wall after going in my chest. She checked ribs, sternum down to muscle after that she said it was her opinion it was localized .
