Nipple itchy & peeling 12 weeks after rads, worry?

I have a follow up mammo tomorrow. Should I ask the radiologist to take a sample of the bit of peeling on my nipple? It's really only on the immediate nipple, not the aerola. It does not look like the photos of Paget's that I've seen, yet my brain keeps going there...

My nipple is also still sensitive but it got very sore during radiation - didn't open up but was fairly "cooked" - so I don't know if I'm just still healing there or what. No other irradiated area is still like this on me. I still put lotion on at least once a day over the whole area or I do notice the skin on my breast feeling pretty tight.

Opinions?
