spot on rib hasnt changed

Well I hd my follow up ct and bloodwork on the 20th I looked on line and all my bloodwork was normal but the cea is done at the cancer clinic because I changed back to my rad onco the bloodwork was not there on the 25th when I saw her it was over at the med onco so when she called to get it I assume nothing was abnormal cuz I didnt get a call.as for my ct scan she said it had not changed in size since the last ct which was dec as some of you know in dec I was in hodpital for 2 weeks due to pnemonia caused by the taxetore they did 2 ct scans 2 weeks apart to check my lungs but saw a very small spot on my 3rd posterior rib same side as bc when they took 2nd ct the spot apearred to have gotten smaller they asumed mets because I was hodpitalized 8 days after my 3rd chemo so onco figures if it shrunk it is probably mets or it wouldnt have shrunk so sent me for bone scan ehich showed nothing because its so small onco didnt want to do biopsy because it is not accurrate when it was so small so tthey wanted to wait and see and I had already had this ct and bloodwork scheduled as my first post chemo checkup.btw because I had pneumonia I was not given my final chemo. So if this spot has not changed since dec what is it? I never had chemo after the last one which was 4 months ago.so if it is still mets would it not be growing? I have read a lot of women doing the wait and see game only to find out down the road that it is mets.my onco doesnt have sn answer and st this time doesnt want to do a pet scan so I will see her in 6 weeks then get ct again in 3 months I imagine if its mets it really will grow by end of june ? Have anybofy else had this happen to them and if so what has been the outcome? I am still convinced (and/or scared) that it is mets thanks for listening....Brenda
