need advice on doctor's recommendations??

Beachwalker - Margins were very good. No rads since I chose the BMX and the wall wasn't involved.  That's the biggest reason I wasn't permitted to have immediate reconstruction.  BS felt it would be much larger than found and that rads and chemo would be needed.  I'm quite fortunate that neither were necessary.  Oncotype was 12.

Tamoxifen from 3/12 to 7/12 until threw blood clots multiple times during recon surgery.  Started on Arimidex from 8/12 to about 12/12.  This gave me multiple headaches daily the entire time was on it.  From 12/12 to 4/13 was on Femara, which seems to have caused RA to flare up.  I was dx'd it with in 82 but it'd not flared like this in MANY years.  So now since 4/13 am on Aromasin.  The hands are slowing getting better. 

All the treatment until the Aromasin was from the local VA Hospital.  Onc was insisting on waiting until Aug to see about changing on the Femara.  I couldn't do that.  Hands were so bad that I was afraid would wind up on disability.  Saw a new Onc through my health insurance and recommended by another on here.  She's a treasure and agreed there was no reason I should stay in pain when there alternatives to try.
