ct scan guided needle biopsy of the lung

I am wondering if anyone had a ct scan needle biopsy of the lung. Is it painful? is it aggravating oor bearable? I am having one 4/2/13

    Hi there...wish I would have seen this earlier.  I had a ct scan needle biopsy on the lung in Sept 2012.  I felt no pain or discomfort at all.  They gave me meds before to relax me, numbed the area and next thing I knew it was done.  Unfortunately, mine led to a collapsed lung and a chest tube......then surgery to remove a nodule (benign).  Hope your procedure went well.
