Ongong problems from RADS

Its 6 months since I finshed rads but STILL I am getting worse on the rads treated area, chest and axilla, the surface skin is ok but underneath movement, stiffness and sheer dicscomfort to pain is increasing - MRI shows fibrosis, any info or advice welcome please...........

    I hope you're talking to your doctor about this.  My first wonder is if it might be lymphedema.  If it is, you want it promptly treated.  If it's not, you want someone to figure out what it is and what to do about it.  Poor dear.  Take care.

    I'm getting physical therapy for my post rads pain. Rads do a number on the muscles. I'm not good at explaining the details, but I do go to a PT that is specially trained in treating breast cancer patients. It's not just surgery that can cause problems, but it is also chemo and rads. The muscles get really tight and are stubborn to relax. Some scar tissue will form in there, too. It can cause a domino effect on the whole body, as other parts will try to compensate for the tight treated areas. I'm all out of whack but improving every day. My fatigue is improving, too.

    I am too but feel moré paín now although i think i have more movement in some ways but rib paín is increasing......very frustrating - thanks for replying and hope you feel better soon
