Nipple Reconstruction

Hello Ladies:

I'm on my (hopefully) last phase of my reconstruction surgery, the nipples, I just wanted to know if anyone cared to share their experience with me. I am uncertain as to which way to go, the simple tattoo aerola with buds or taking the one with the groin is involved. I was wondering if anyone had this and if so does it give you more sensitvity in this area. Thanks all for your input have a terrific day.

I had areola grafts taken from my c-section scar in my stomach then eventually got tattoos.  There is not senstivity in that area - not much feeling.  They do however look very real.  My MO always tells me it looks like I had nipple sparing because they look so real.   I am happy with the results.  THe healing on the skin grafts was hard for me for some reason.  It took longer than I thought it would but eventually they healed up.

I skipped nip recon entirely and went with 3D tats by Vinnie Myers.  Saved an extra surgery and no "headlights on" issue.  It was right for me.   I'm thrilled with them, and none of my doctors could believe the first time they saw them that the were just tattoos - they look that good.

I hear Vinnie in Randallstown Maryland is the guy to go too for tatoo.  Worth the travel!
