I am a 85 year old male whose wife had mastectomy 20 years and then she died in 2002 due to multi-myeloma.  This is just a short message for those that might be worried of what will happen.  20 years after a mastectomy is an example of what can happen.  I am having a mastectomy this coming Tuesday but I am not worried at all since I know there is a better place for me in the very near future.  Hope this may be a message of contentmet.

There is a better place for all of us and no matter what we do to stop it, we will all go there one day.  I was diagnosed at 37 so I hope to put it off a little bit longer.  I have made quite a few changes to live a healthier life and to give myself the best chance I can to stick around.  I hope that everyone here has done the same.  Live long and prosper!
