tumor flares from tamoxifen

For the last month I've been experiencing some pretty painfull tumor flares from my tamoxifen. I talked to my Dr. last week after I no longer could sleep all night, due to the pain waking me up. She put me on ms cotin 15 mg twice daily and to take Ibpurophen for break thru pains. Well its not really working. Anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions, either natural ways to soothe pain or meds. I will call my Dr. But just wanted to hear from who has experienced this.
