Hi All,

On the weekend my R breast was itching incessantly, just on the bottom section and the nipple.  I gave it a really good scratch and didnt think anymore of it.  When I went to have a shower later in the day, I discovered that I had a large welt that was bright red and some bruising where I had scratched earlier on.  Now almost a week later I still have the bruise with lots of pain (always have pain in the breast anyway).

Should I see my regular BS for advice or just see what happens?  Has anyone that has been diagnosed with IBC just have bruising, pain and itching?

I do have a lot of history of problems in the R breast and have had 3 open biopsies on it with a diagnosis of ADH...

Any advice please......Frown

The other issues I have atm are pain and lump under the arm (it sort of sits in the upper underarm rather than in the axilla itself....if that makes sense??) and the pain radiates to the upper ribs just below the breast and also to the back and shoulder blade.  The right arm also feels heavy and weak at times.  Due to my other open biopsies, I have a section near the bruised section that feels numb??  The heaviest bruising actually sits within a couple of stretch marks on the breast??

Does any of this sound normal or should I follow it up??

Hoping someone is able to shed some light on my issues.....Foot in Mouth

BTW when my breast issues where first discovered almost 2 years ago, the bone scan that I had showed a large area of 'inflammation' in the tail of the right breast....

It can of hurt to get it checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry. I vote for you to make a doc appt.
