3rd week, waiting for other shoe to drop

I am in my 3rd week of rads.  So far ...no redness, no pain, no fatigue, no nothing.  I am waiting for the other shoe to drop?  I can't believe I might get through this with no side effects after reading all the horrible things so many of you have gone through with radiation.  Should I expect SE now in third or maybe fourth week?  The only thing I have been using 3 times a day is emu oil.

I got a rash under the breast during the last week of rads, but no side effects other than that.

You may be lucky and get off with minimal if any SE's ... some women do.

My skin stayed good until the boosts, and even then it's like a mild sunburn and only the boost area - certainly not painful or anything.    The other problem was that I have developed quite a bit of swelling in the treated breast, again not until the last week though.

I did get fatigue, but it may have been exacerbated by also getting bronchitis during my 2nd week.   I found it got worse during the 4th week and then stabilized .... not so bad I can't function, but definitely there.    I do wonder though if it would have been as bad if I hadn't gotten sick.

I just got over a 3 wk chest cold that started the first week of rads so suffered as well.  I thank you for your comments and hope I will be as lucky as both of you.  Onward and blessings to you
