It's been on e year since I had surgery for Triplr Negative Stage 2 Grade 3 breast Cancer.  I still have pain in my breast and it scares me and I feel like I'm crying wolf everytime I want to be seen by my surgeon.  Is this normal?  I've had Chemo and Rads after surgery.  Anyone else here still have pain?  thanks!

I woke up again this morning thinking I need to call my doctor.  Had a Lx. in October and lately have been having more discomfort...burning, pain, itching.  Still a bit swollen too.  One month out of rads, so for me, it could be that.

The way I look at it...we know our bodies and that's their job!

I'm 4 years out this past February and I still have pain in my breast.  My BS said some of us will have it forever, with all the nerves, muscles, etc. that were severed.  Mine seems to hurt most when it's damp or rainy outside - and then there are days when it feels ok.  It used to scare me, but she claims many of us will have that pain and there really is nothing that can be done about it. Hope that helps a bit.

I still have pain. I have lymphedema and swelling in the breast and I dont know if it will ever be fixed without removing the breast. Ive been told it takes a while to get over it, so we will see.
