Any Triple negs here who've had recurrences after 5 years ?

It has now been 5 1/2 years since I have been NED of triple negative breast cancer.  I still live in fear of recurrence because it seems that breast cancer always seems to return at some point in time.  I knew someone with stage 1 breast cancer, that was not triple negative, who had a recurrence 9 years later and had the cancer return in her lungs.  I was reading about the singer, Anastacia who was just diagnosed with breast cancer again after being NED for 10 years.  I'm not strong enough to deal with this disease again.

I thought with triple negative breast cancer, if you've made it to 5 years without having a recurrence, there was a good chance that you were cured.  However, my oncologist said that that is not true. And so did a cancer registrar that I had spoken with.  I was told by the both of them that recurrence rates after 5 years is the same for triple negatives as it is for hormonal positive breast cancer.
