Dancing with NED!

Hi y'all,

So far 2013 has been a wonderful year for me and my family.  In January I saw my MO and got a great report.

This month I've seen my GP for yearly checkup, ie blood work, etc. and all is well.  I also saw my surgeon and he has released me!  Then the cherry on top was today, my RO said I am still dancing with NED!!!!

I will be getting a mammo on my left breast next month and am praying the good news continues.

I never realized just how much those 3 little letters would mean but now I do and I want to continue my dance....enough to wear out a few thousand pairs of shoes, lol.

I had my 6 month mammo today on my breast cancer breast and it continues to be "ALL CLEAR".  I thank God every day, several times a day for my continued good health.

I have a check-up with my Radiation Oncologist today. I'm being super cautious because my skin is doing something weird. My PS said it is typical radiated skin irregularity. Also, I have chest swelling from lymphedema. But, it feels good to be going to an appointment feeling like the doctor will actually say everything is fine. And, here is the huge thing. I only have ONE, yes ONE, medical appointment this week!

I am extremely grateful to report after my brain MRI that I am still NED!! My brain MRI showed activity consistent with migraines and acute hypertension - but not cancer. Still, I have to take it seriously but I am very very grateful today.
