HappyHammer, you punster! Mary (Merry?) Mallette???

Sandy, so sorry about the swelling. I have a giant seroma, too, that freaks me out now and then.

Peggy- in your pocket til you get your results Friday!

MLP- I love that leather alert bracelet.

LTFly- happy to hear that you're feeling so good day 2, hope the trend continues.

Mel- yay for a great first day back

What did everyone else use post-op for deodorant/anti-perspirant post-op? My incision is right under my armpit, and I'm reluctant to use anything. But I also hate dealing with my smell, and I hate the idea that I'll be stinky going to my BS on Friday.

Bluedog...back from long ago college days- nickname from a sorority sister. I actually usually go by M2 a lot and my own sister calls me Mallet. Guess as long as they are calling me and it's nice, then, it's good. Sorry about that seroma. Mine finally has reabsorbed! Took about 12 weeks.

    Hope yours is better soon!

Mlp thank you! I do love the wrap one that is very much my style. I also like the Tiffany's one but I don't think that's happening!

HappyHammer, thank you for that much needed laugh! :)

Peggy, it might not be too late to start a campaign. You'd have my vote!

MLP3, Think I'll skip 6 husbands at once - coping with one is more than enough for me. Since I'm not dating getting married might be a challenge right now. Maybe after I move. I'd like to.

I'm happy just being here with you all and helping out where I can - no Presidency for me!!!

Time to go out with my BFF for dinner!

    HUGS!!!

1 step... I've been using feminine wipes and spray. It's funny because I never usually have bad b.o. But the surgery side is brutal!

I found some cool gold and silver dog tag charms too with the medical symbol.

I thought that Chan Lu style wrap was you LTF;)

Ahhhh... The soothing sounds of chopping in the kitchen as my daughter makes dinner tonight😊

Someone sent me this picture because it reminded them of me. I laughed because I love cool flannel, red wine, had a Bernese mt dog and that's very close to my kitchen! I sent it to my oldest because this will be her in a couple of years...

does anybody else use this on their iPhone? For some reason often when I edit it doesn't take, and always it doesn't always take my full comment. Also sometimes it freezes when I'm typing, and I have to start over.Very annoying

I use it all the time LTF. It drops punctuation and I often have to edit things too. It is annoying but love my iPhone. Easier than getting out the MacBook .

Speaking of the App Store I downloaded the Nottingham Prognostic index app. It's easy to use but can be depressing lol. Not sure if they have it on Google play or not.

Oh my goodness, Jan. I should have avoided that, lol. It's the first time anything has taken my lvi into account. Poor prognosis, 5 year survival rate 50%, score 5.42

sorry Molly I know. Mine wasn't good either. But I kind of knew it anyway. I kept tweaking the info to see if my score got better. We can defy the odds

LTF, best to get the hair gone in one fell-swoop.

MLP3, love that picture. I'd give my eye teeth for that range! Sigh. Double Sigh.

I DID have a good time at dinner. Thank you everyone!

    HUGS!

It's okay, I knew it was dicey even with my low oncotype Dx score. It's the nodes and LVI that brings my score is. My BS said that I am one of her high risk patients so she's watch me carefully. Peggy, so glad you had a good time.

I was swooning over that range too! And the pretty, pretty tile. My cabinets are similar, but that's about it.

Jan and Molly, just remember statistics are just that...numbers. We are each individuals and our prognosis are as individual as we are. At least that's how I feel.

    Prayers and HUGS!

For those of you experiencing pain with breast cancer, the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is running a study. Take a look and see if it's right for you. Pain Study

I think I'll skip that prognosticator. Reader425, is right. Statistics are just that. They don't apply to an individual. They apply to a huge group, not you. Erase that data from your mind - just not worth worrying about. You're doing what needs to be done, so just live! Remember there are only 2 options: alive or dead. We're alive.

    HUGS!

Sloan -- I was a little sleepy today. Maybe still getting that twilight anesthesia out of my system? (Even though I swear that stuff doesn't seem effective!) But otherwise feeling OK.

HappyHammer -- That's what's helpful about posting here--seeing others with similar dx's going through the same stuff. It's a bit weird to be pretty much done with treatment, aside from the years of hormonals, anyway. ... And sort of knowing that it doesn't really end. But it's nice to try and focus on the good things and be optimistic.

MLP3 -- That's an adorable image. My sister would love a range like that. I barely ever bake or roast, so a stovetop and microwave are good enough for me. Big dog in my arms would be nice, though!
