    Mods: Are you aware that 5 internet tracking site are attached to bc.org? They are: AMP Platform, double click, google analytics, new relic, and scorecard reasearch beacon.

    I installed a program that stops websites from monitoring my web activity. This site has those five website monitoring my activity on this site.

    It is bad enough to have spammers on here occasionally, but I find it offensive of website tracking on here.

    cinnamonsmiles, Breastcancer.org, like many sites, uses software to help to understand how members access the site (which browser and version; whether computers or mobile devices), to present ads, to know when visitors follow links to the main site, and to measure how long readers and posters spend here.

    Ultimately the intention is to provide a more useful and customized experience. Some newer browser versions give users the option (such as in the Privacy section of Firefox) to tell websites they don't want to be tracked.
