Hi can anyone help? lumpectomy (partial mastectomy) and sentinal node removal. dr said he just took the one node...a nurse suggested that is a good sign and that if they take one it generally means the cancer has not spread...I get results in a few days...any one have experience with this? thanks so much

we all have a different amt of sentinal nodes, ranges from about 1-4, sounds like they did a sentinal node biopsy and you only had one sentinal node.  Also seems like when they checked it in surgery it was clean.  If your final pathology report still says zero cancer then they likely will not remove any more nodes.  And yes, it is a good thing if your nodes are negative.
