I'm in Germany and need English support

HI,

New here and not sure if this is the place to start, but thought I could get pointed in the right direction if I'm in the wrong place. I'm recently diagnosed (January), have had surgery, but there were complications with my tumor removals. I had clips placed after my biopsy and after surgery it was discovered that one clip was missing so now the doctors cannot be sure if what they took out was really tumor from the spot that was marked with the clip (and wires, dear God how did this happen?). This issue has to be resolved before my chemo starts. If the clip is found to be in the same place where it started then clearly they missed the one tumor. If it has moved they say there is no problem. If it is not there, then all the better. My pressing issue at the moment is that I have a hematoma the size of Texas in this breast, and my last oncologist (they change daily, different system, that's for another day) just said I have to have a mammogram to look for the clip. He knows there is a hematoma. I was given a couple of week reprieve for the hematoma to heal but my best guess that I could tolerate another mammogram around May. We are off to get a 2nd opinion next week about another way to see if the clip is there or not, perhaps ultrasound or CT scan. Is anyone experienced with this problem? I think maybe we should also be pressing the current oncology group to come up with a solution other than mammo and other than my having to run to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd opinion is ONLY about the clip problem. We know clearly that chemo and radiation are a given in my situation.

My problem tumor is triple negative and I think probably the chemo should start ASAP. My regime will be FEC/Doc and I'm also of course really anxious and super scared about the chemo so I would like to jump into the right forum where there are triple negative and FEC/Doc experienced women.  It does turn your world upside down overnight doesn't it? Thanks very much.
