God mapped out my treatment plan long before I was diagnosed
I was a stay at home mom, taking care of my children while my husband worked a blue collar job. We had 2 children and no health insurance.
Here is my story, God is great
) !!
I was 40 years old with two daughters in 1st and 2nd grade, life was getting boring with them in school so I would look on the computer for stay at home jobs, they were all scams...
One afternoon I read FAFSA grants available, i applied and got a grant took all the necessary test and enrolled in Health Administration at the local community college. In the midst of it all i also at 42 became pregnant again...I graduated in 2010 and also recieved an award for achievment in outstanding Business Skills.
I went right from graduating to doing my externship at Highlands Regional Medical Center and the Director hired me as her Assistant. My position was Medical staff credentialing specialist, I worked with the hospital at maintain physicians files.
On Sept.7, 2012, I had almost forgotten that I had a yearly pap scheduled and rushed out the door to make it, while there I mentioned that within the last two weeks I had noticed a lump in my left breast. After examination she wrote a prescription for a mammo, asap.
Upon my return to the office I went to schedule mammo, but the tech was not there but who did I run into rounding the hall??? Ms. Anne and was scheduled for 11:00, after my mammo she suggested that the Radiologist take a look he may want to do a Ultrasound, and I was immediately taken to have one done.
I was then being prepped for a needle biopsy, once that was completed I went to the Pathologist who confirmed that I did have cancer. It was very overwhelming, withing three hours I had been diagnosed with stage3 breast cancer. Thank you Father for preparing me with the needed tools to beat this evil cancer
