Breast and skin changes near surgery site?

Options

Hi all, I would love some advice, I was dx 4 years ago.I saw the oncologist 2 months ago and she remarked my breast near the surgery area felt different.  I really did not think much about it.

I saw my gynecologist earlier this month and he made additional remarks and suggested I have the surgeon relook at it.  So my surgeon is on vacation and I see him next week.

Meanwhile I went to my dermatologist today and he advised me to go to the surgeon since the skin looks different.

I was thinking it was nothing, but now after having a 3 docs remark, I am worried.  Has anyone else had breast texture changes and skin wrinkling near the site?  If so what happens next?  a core biopsy?

Please share any thoughts.  thanks so much.

Lori

Hi Lories - What did you find out from your Breast Surgeon?  I was dx 3 yrs ago with two different cancers in the same breast ... opted for a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction.  Did not have to do radiation or chemo because the nodes were clear.  Recently I have noticed the skin changes on my breasts.  It feels really dry and flaky, cracking.   It has been like this for almost 2 months.  I have an appointment with a dermatologist and PA at my breast surgeon's office on Monday.   But of course I'm a little worried that there may be some thing more than dry skin going on.
