I will be checking out here during the weekend
Baking sounds great, too, very therapeautic. I picked up some pumpkin bread mix over the holidays (hard to find the rest of the year!) - I like to throw in chocolate chips and bake as muffins. Makes the house smell good, too. :-)

Enjoy your baked goods ! Sounds Yummy. I will also be on this week end...+

Well tomorrow is the day. Mammo, ultrasound, and I'm certain a biopsey will follow. 24-48 hrs turn around.
Why am I so nervous? Shaky. I will post then. The Dr.'s are there each step of the way.
Nodes present, nodule still there. Till then, Jenn -
Hi!! I came back to check on you, Jenn! Tomorrow is the big day, but guess what - there is nothing you can do about it right now. "It is what is", and it shall be what is shall be. On the day before a big possiblly life changing event like tomorrow, I try to enjoy what could be the last day of normalcy for a long time. Do what you love! Call someone you've been meaning to reach out to, and maybe not even mention what is going on, just reconnect. Make amends, get stuff in order at home, maybe make dinner ahead of time for tomorrow night like a lasagna, pre position a good bottle of wine or your fav drink for after the chaos etc. I always feel like I want my crap together in case the other shoe drops. Then if it doesn't, you've still taken good care of you and your life.
Sending you hugs!

Just checking on you, any news? Hope all is well!
-
Jenn - how are you doing? and to answer one of your questions - I was 54 when diagnosed, they said it had probably been growing for 6+ years, never took HRT, or any other hormonals (birth control pills or the such). I was Stage IIIA at diagnosis.
Wishing you well, favorited this to stay in the loop. Said a prayer for you and your family!
