Triple Negative that is acting very strange

I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in July 2012. I am a 59 year old white female. My tumor was 8cm. My treatment began with chemotherapy. Two months of A/C and 12 weeks of Taxal. About three weeks before the Taxol ended the tumor started growing back. Now I am scheduled for surgery in eight days and the tumor is still growing (2cm) plus I have a huge hard mass throughout most of my breast. My oncologist is worried that the cancer may have spread to other areas of my body. I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this or know anyone who has. I'm just trying to make it eight more days until the surgery.

yes after 4th dose of chemo my tumor stopped responding. when first found the little critter it was about 2 cm, after being messed around with wrong diagnosis for over 3 months it was 6cm on diagnosis. after chemo finished it was 10cm.

fortunately it hadnt spread to any distant organs but was in 17/24 nodes and was in the node above the collar bone, thats a yukki one and was on my chest.

since then i had 30 rads and have been put back on chemo and last scan showed all nodes shrunk considerably.

hang in there and fingers crossed they get the sucker.

    thoughts are with you.

    xx
