best treatment option for hormone negative patients

My sister has newly diagnosed with stage II cancer, tumor size 2 centimeter, and at early stage.  Her test result is hormone negative.  Her doctor is going to start with four sessions of chemtherapy?  What is the best option for her treatment?

Hi Jhass,

I am triple negative, so hormone target medicine does not work. I will start 4 series of TC Feb. 8, then radiation.

Hi Jhass,

I'm not TN but I have very little hormone receptors I am on 4 cycles of T/C my second one is this Thursday, I have a friend who is TN she is also doing 4 cycles of T/C. 

Did she have surgery yet?

Hi Carla: She did her regular annual mammography, but it did not show anything.  She also had ultrasound.  It did not show either.  But in four months since her last mammogrphy, tumor grew in her right breast.  She had her surgery (mastectomy) and cleaning of underr her arm.  Dr. told her that her tumor is in early stage and gave her 4 cycles of chemo which will be followed by radiation.  She has completed one cycle so far and have appointment to do another session after three weeks.
