Hi all,

Has anyone on the boards tried Prolia?  I am thinking of starting it and am concerned with the SE.

smo - there are a couple of threads addressing this - I have had two Prolia injections over the last year (every 6 months) and I am due forthe next one in February.  I have had zero SE.  Here are some other threads to read:

Thank you lindasa, I have been so worried because of all the SE listed online.  I have fibromyalgia and am very worried about the bone and muscle pain.

I was told Tam also helps the bones in post menopausal women.

Specialk.  I am so happy to hear you have had no problems with Prolia. I have a few questions if you don't mind.   Did you take another drug, such as Fosamax previously?  Also, have you had another bone density test since you started Prolia?   I have taken Fosamax since last July and now my Onc is recommending Prolia.  I am wondering if there is a real difference in the drugs.  Thanks!

Anyone with Fibromyalgia taken Prolia?  I am wondering if it will increase the Fibromyalgia pain.  My doc is going to watch to see if Tamoxifen helps with my bone density.  I am postmenopause so he thinks it might.
