Best wishes on your surgery Friday for bigger margins.

Your team stats sound like stats my team gave :)). The explanation of why hormone therapy waits until rads complete make sense. I've been wondering why HT not started as soon as surgery was completed.

Safe travel for those 33- 3 hour trips. Hope you have appointment buddies they are blessings.

Speedy healing and on to rads!

Hello girls! I hope everyone is well... I started my rads therapy this morning...didn't feel anything... I also had my follow up appt w/SO...a few weeks after my surgery I started to feel shooting pain in my nipple, so she told me that it is very normal and this is the main area where you could feel the pain...

Will start running next week, want to get myself ready for the HT ... I was reading on the Internet about weight gain...hopefully it will help. :)

Had my second surgery last week, no cancer found, so on to radiation in a couple of weeks. A bit more discomfort this time, using the same incision may account for that. Had to take a couple of Tylenol this time, nothing last time. Biggest problem is trying to get my sticky blood under control. Developed a blood clot after the first surgery and still trying to get my INR levels where they need to be. Between twice daily injections, and daily blood draws I'm feeling like a giant pin cushion. But all in all I feel pretty lucky.
