Strange Reaction to steroids?

I have been having steroids with my chemo and have had two nighttime strange occurrences that r along the lines of psychotic experiences very hard to explain and extremely scary. Because of this my oncologist has reduced my steroids and this is better however iam due to have taxetol and they have said my steroids need to go back up to 16 grams per day for 3 days and that it is possible I might have a psychotic reaction to this but I can't not have steroids with this drug. We r in a very difficult position possible psychosis or no taxetol?? Has anyone else experienced anything like me? It was horrible on both occasions however I seem to get it under control fairly quickly , but I had to walk around the house in the night saying the names of things and putting my head back into reality! Soooooo strange and scary. Help! Noranelly
