Bras, breast lymphedema and being large breasted - help

Hi



I am new to breast lymphedema. First treatment / flush / massage was yesterday and now 9 months after first surgery I know what my breast looks like for the first time without the swelling. It's somewhat "shorter" than the other. Anyway, now I need to find an appropriate bra for the girls. Having large breasts I'm accustomed to hoisting them up high with underwire bras such as the balconette pre surgery and treatments and have been in lane Bryant's all cotton wireless bras since this all began. I need guidance on what bras to wear and specifically what to avoid. I am plus sized and large breasted, a 44dd before diagnosis and a 46ddd since treatments especially five weeks of radiation that seems to have caused significant swelling.



Sorry to go on. I would really appreciate your weighing in. I need to find a decent bra that helps my health/ breast lymphedema (or post radiation swelling) and also allows me to maintain a professional image. Any other breast LE guidance also gratefully received.

So far I have only found one that I somewhat like.  I think they honestly have fitted me a size to big but I haven't had extra money to try a smaller size.  This one I also think stretches out and has to be washed often.  I am almost ready to try an underwire MX one next.  I am a uni now and this one does come up and over the dog ear behind my arm.  Good Luck and post if you find a good one!
