Any of you with TNBC have bone mets? If so, for how long? I was diagnosed in Nov 2012 and I am scared. Renae

    Hello Renae64.

I just noticed your post and would like to say I was sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with bone mets, having had a lumpectomy last April. Try not to be too frightened, as there is always treatment.

Did you have any chemotherapy or radiotherapy?

You are welcome to join my thread Calling all triple negative cancer patients in the UK. I started it for patients in the UK, but women from all different countries post on here.

You could also post on Calling all TNS or post on both, as a lot of women do.

I am sure someone will be able to answer your questions, and you will be in the company of women at all different stages of triple negative breast cancer.

    Thinking of you.

    Sylvia

Renae: Sorry to hear about your mets Dx. I understand bone mets are more unusual among TNs than hormone positive women - the pattern of TN is to go to soft tissue, which can be harder to treat. There are many treatments for bone mets, however, and lots of women do well with them. You may want to check out the Stage IV board. Best wishes.
