BUMPING!
-
Well, I was voting daily with my rarely-used Twitter account. I love Ann's writing style. I feel like an idiot. According to Ann's most recent blog, a number of Twitter votes were discounted due to the fact that there was no photo with the account so they don't know if you are a real person. Ummm, I guess that would be some of my votes. Trying to appeal it was going to be difficult. I did find a name in the rules section under "The Prize" (tracyr). Well I decided to write her and see if some of my votes could be reinstated if I provided a screenshot of my Twitter account with picture and whines (just a bit). She said only 4 of my votes were discounted and they would be reinstated next Tuesday. Yeah! I think Anne's article on Lance Armstrong is excellent and should be republished elsewhere. A win for her would be so well-deserved. I have been reading her blog since I was diagnosed Stage 3 in April 2011.

Thanks to everyone for keeping this thread going, and a special shout out to roadrunner.
It's so easy to vote with Facebook. You don't need to share your voting on your page. Just press sign in with Facebook and when they ask to share just push cancel. Your vote will still count even through you don't share your activity on Facebook.
It would mean so much to Ann to win this contest. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I'm not on Facebook, my son is and he is voting every day. I'm afraid Rheumatoid Arthritis could be more attractive to healthy people as cancer is!

8398:) I remember too vividly how, after my diagnosis, not yet knowing my prognosis (which is rather good, knock wood) I was thinking 'Thank God that my son finished his education, that he has university degree and speaks three languages.'. I so totally understand and admire Ann' s dedication to building a fund for her son's college education. I wish the price was more than 1000.
